Baptisms (Christening)

All who are baptised receive God’s Grace and become full members of the Church.
Baptism is not restricted to babies or small children!
Baptism can take place within the Sung Parish Mass at 11am on Sundays or at other times, by arrangement.

Couples – at least one of whom lives in Christ Church Parish – have a right to be married at Christ Church.
However, there are a number of other “qualifying connections” which could entitle you to be married here, even if you are not resident in the parish. You may be able to be married at Christ Church even if one of you is divorced with a former spouse still living. (Sadly, neither the Church or England nor the British State allow same sex marriages to take place in C of E churches – or by C of E clergy.)

When someone dies it is usually the Funeral Director who contacts us first.
