GIVING TO CHRIST CHURCH

At Christ Church, we aim to be a welcoming and inclusive church family, without walls to the community and to continue our great choral tradition. We are grateful to all who support our work – generously giving their time, their talents and their money.  

 

Our giving sustains our church building, a sacred place dedicated to worship, prayer and witness.

Our giving sustains our clergy, here and across our diocese and helps train new clergy.

​

Our giving sustains our ministry, measured by every:

• sick person visited

• confirmation course run

• school assembly taken

• bereaved family comforted

• baptism celebrated

• sermon preached

• Eucharist celebrated

• choir-led service

• person shown the love of Christ through our care, comfort and compassion

• new Minister & Reader in training

Our giving sustains mission both here in the UK and overseas for people we may never meet but to whom we are able to give practical support through our ministry.

PARISH GIVING SCHEME

​

Many of our congregation give through the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS).

 

The PGS is a Direct Debit donation management system offered to support parishes fund their mission and ministry.

It reduces the burden of work on our parish volunteers and provides a professional service to donors.

​

It enables you to:

• donate monthly, quarterly or annually by Direct Debit

• sign up to inflation-proof giving annually

• enhance your gift to Christ Church by having Gift Aid at 25% added, if you are a UK Taxpayer

• give anonymously if you prefer

• do so securely

• set up a Direct Debit to donate regularly through a paper Direct Debit form – available from Andrew Pollett or with the phone service, telephone 0333 002 1271
